About CFC Bootcamps

What We Instruct

What is CFC Bootcamps?

CFC Bootcamps is a core strength and conditioning course focused on constantly varied, functional movements, executed at high intensity.

By keeping the stimulas broad, inclusive, and constanlty varied, we can make sure that you do not adapt. Afterall, routine is the enemy.

Our funtional movements are truly functional…they are universal motor-recruitment patterns. They are multi-joint and multi-muscle. They are safe, effective, and are movements that radiate from core to extremity.

After movement patterns are taught, we can then excute them at high intensity. How high is high? Relatively high. We are able to move large objects, long distances, and quickly. Force multiplied by distance divided by time equals power. Intensity is just that…Power.

Our methods are measureable, viewable, and repeatable. We are an open-source Program within our CrossFit Community. We are an evidence based fitness Program that is empirically driven, clinically tested, and community developed.

Best Practices

At CFC Bootcamps, we incorporate the best practices of all sport and training modalities into our training. We will adopt and use whatever helps us provide better, safer and more effective training. No pride in ownership, no ego: If it works, we’ll use it (and hope that whoever we’re stealing from will come workout with us).

How do we determine best? The best training methods results are specific, measureable, repeatable, and performance-based.

CrossFit is a core principal we apply to our methods because it offers useful definitions and concepts that improve the results of our training. CrossFit is an open source model that is free to all.

The Athletes

We treat people as athletes – goal-driven versus passive “recreation.” Our athlete’s goals are as varied as their backgrounds, ages, and experiences: Preparing for the next season in a sport, losing fat, or generally staying mobile and healthy.
